RSPH Level 2 Award in Using Aluminium Phosphide Safely for the Management of Vertebrate Pests

This course combines classroom theory, practical training and an exam across two consecutive days. The first day will cover several different aspects of Aluminium Phosphide; from legislation, environment and wildlife awareness through to application equipment and record keeping. Day 2 consists of a written assessment in the morning, and a practice procedure in the afternoon that is assessed by our own RSPH qualified tutors.

Day 1 (classroom theory plus exam) covers:

  • Legislation
  • Safety, exposure, prevention and first aid
  • Environment and wildlife awareness
  • Labels, product containers, storage and transportation
  • Application equipment, handling and disposal of excess product and spillages
  • Record keeping

Day 2 (practical assessment) covers:

  • RSPH Level 2 Award Assessment in using Aluminium Phosphide Safely for the Management of Vertebrate Pests
  • Carry out procedures for the use of Aluminium Phosphide in the management of vertebrate pests, assessed by our own RSPH qualified tutors.

Attendees must bring wellington boots and suitable outdoor clothing.
